Kalgoorlie is a township which was founded on the back of the Gold Mining industry. The Gold Rush of the late 1880’s prompted the beginnings of the town, which went on to become a bustling place for miners and their families to build their lives. Today, more than 100 years later, Kalgoorlie is still a bustling township and mining is remains as a huge industry here. In fact Kalgoorlie produces on average a tenth of the world’s gold supply.   

Despite recent economic downturns the Australian mining industry is experiencing growth and the boom is heavily concentrated in Western Australia and in particular, Kalgoorlie and the surrounding areas. • MWHS - Mine Workers Health Surveillance (Re-occurring medial test, every 5 years)
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Relevant experience for the position you are applying. (e.g Heavy Civil Construction)
• HR Licence is very useful
• Police clearance
• Drug and alcohol Test
• Forklift Licence
